IRSME DAY 2020

Address of PCME on IRSME DAY 14th February 2020

1. 14th, February was IRSME Day but we are celebrating today due to unavoidable circumstances. I wish good luck and success to IRSME fraternity. May our officers progress in their careers and their desires get fulfilled.

2. Much earlier it was Jamalpur Club Day but later renamed as IRSME Day and all officers started celebrating it. Now after merger of all Gr A services, this tradition will vanish one day. So till the cadre is there, we all must help each other in career development and taking care of personal issues.

3. IRSMEs have tremendously contributed in the growth of the national carrier by way of having provided world class rolling stock starting from vacuum stock fitted with plain bearings to Train18 and Tejas coaches and CTRB fitted 30days validity freight wagons.

4. By introducing Bio Toilets, we have made stations free of foul smell and it coupled with EnHM has started changing face of our stations. Now for the people of our great country, we are changing face of our country by having better stations, better coaches and better hygiene services.

5. We have always been trying to help our officers in postings at the places of their choice, supporting them in the adverse situations.

6. Our officers are very competent and are capable of producing desired results. Both workshops and all the three divisions are performing well in their respective areas.

7. We are fortunate to have our leader like Shri AK Singh, GM of our railways. He is simply incomparable and has so many good virtues. He is highly generous, benevolent, helpful, bold, very quick in decisions has a big heart to forgive.

8. Madam Sujata Singh also binds our families by her love and affection. She is a great lady who takes care of all of us. Considers all as a family members and pay special attention on families of IRSME officers.

9. I thank all officers and their families who have taken so much pain in making the event successful.

10. I also thank all organisers of the event. May name few for their special contribution.
